Wednesday events
Learn firsthand the role fashion plays on the big and little screen. The event will highlight how clothes make a statement in every production from a major blockbuster to a television series. A costume designer for the big screen will speak about the importance of fashion in film. Designer Melody Thomas will be showing her latest collection. Michel Tcherevkoff, conceptual photographer and designer, will showcase his new collection of shoes designed from his shoe fleur inspirations in collaboration with Po-Zu International. Macy’s Fashion Show featuring the Philadelphia Fashion Incubator starts at 5:30 p.m. Join Macy’s Center City and celebrity host Kara Laricks, NBC “Fashion Star” winner, for an unforgettable runway show featuring The Philadelphia Fashion Incubator designer labels: Aso Damisi, D’Agostino Fashion Textile Design, Heartless Revival and Kaitlyn Elizabeth.
